Designer and TV host Jasmine Roth will lead Staples’ new Style Squad with home office design advice

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Office superstore Staples, a longtime player in the office furniture business, is polishing its credentials in the fashion department as well with the introduction of a Work From Home Style Squad.

The squad is a group of designers, entrepreneurs and other creative types who will share design advice, product picks and tips for remote workers to perk up their work-from-home space with Staples products, which include a range of home accents. Interior designer and TV host Jasmine Roth will lead the effort.

“With so many of our customers settling into a more long-term work from home situation, Staples is continuously updating our assortment to make sure we carry new, stylish pieces to offer them a total home office solution,” said Marshall Warkentin, Staples’ chief marketing and merchandising officer.

Roth and the rest of the design team will curate office inspiration and promotions with a range of chairs and desks in various shapes and sizes; floor and desk lamps; the latest tech; and a wide range of accessories that make the room pop and highlight an individual’s personality.

Among the product suggestions that Staples highlighted are its Velvet Desk Chair and MidMod Manager chair, its Brass Modern Desk Lamp, and accents such as its Happy Retro Cork Board and Tru Red desk accessories.

“We are spending more time than ever before in our remote workspaces,” Roth said. “I believe creating a space that is both functional and stylish can inspire us as we conquer our to-do lists. Staples has a lot of fun stuff in store for this year, and I’m excited to team up with their WFH Style Squad to inspire fans to create the home office of their dreams.”

Editor-in-Chief Allison Zisko first joined HFN in 1998 and spent many years covering the tabletop category before widening her scope to all home furnishings. In her current role, she oversees all aspects of HFN, including its print and digital products, and represents the brand at home and abroad through presentations, panel discussions and HFN’s podcast, The Inside Scoop.
