OAKLAND, Calif. – DTC marketplace Revival is launching a new rug collection called Laurel Canyon, inspired by 1970s California.

The collection of hand-knotted flatweave rugs is inspired by actor Steve McQueen, movies like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and the Malibu Sands hotel.

The four new styles feature a flatwoven base punctuated by raised cut-pile motifs in rich earth tones and neutrals. They include the Anita, Grier, Eve and Joan rugs. Each style is available in six sizes with prices ranging from $429 to $1,399.

The company’s partner for the collection is a third-generation family-run weaving house that specializes in handwoven pile rugs, having perfected their technique for 50 years.

Revival Rugs is a thoughtfully-curated, ethically-sourced online marketplace of handmade rugs, textiles, and home décor, many of which are sourced from Istanbul, Turkey.
