HIGH POINT — The 18 companies that sponsor Premarket have made several policy changes that will give their dealer/guests more flexibility in planning their visit to High Point in the spring.
The sponsors are adding back Sunday afternoon as a time all sponsors will be open and ready to receive dealers. Premarket will officially begin at noon on Sunday, Feb. 27, with showrooms open until 5 p.m. The 18 sponsor showrooms will also be open Monday, Feb. 28, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., and on Tuesday, March 1, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
The sponsors are also expanding the number of room nights covered by the Premarket Sponsors group from four room nights to six room nights. They will also allow dealer/guests to arrive Saturday night.
Finally, the sponsors are “cautiously optimistic” that they will be able to host their traditional Monday night dinner at the Grandover for all dealers in town for Premarket. The three top executives from each sponsor in attendance as hosts.
The sponsors will hold a more scaled-down dinner if conditions call for it.
Premarket sponsors are committed to having their showrooms “market ready,” with the vast majority of their spring introductions fully set up and priced for sale.
