Chelsea on Green, a new antiques market, is located at 515 West Green Drive in High Point, N.C.

HIGH POINT, N.C.—The antiques market will get a boost next month with the opening of Chelsea on Green, a new year-round showroom here filled with antiques, vintage finds and other pieces of art and architecture.

The 20,000 square-foot space, located at 515 West Green Drive, will host nearly 30 vendors representing furniture, accessories and several other home furnishings categories, and is booked solid for High Point Market, according to showroom manager Rejeana Ellis.

“It’s going to be a really eclectic group of people here, which I’m excited about,” Ellis said. Of the 28 vendors signed up for spring, 13 are also showing at the Antique & Design Center, according to Ellis.

The building, once an antiques mall, was purchased about a year ago by brothers Erik and Jared Weinstein, who also own Golden Oldies in High Point. The building was practically demolished and now has new walls and bathrooms, a well as a café, Ellis said.

Chelsea on Green will host an invitation-only VIP night on March 29 and a grand opening celebration open to all on March 30 from 5 – 9 p.m. During market it will be open from 10 a.m.- 7 p.m.

The building will be open year-round, Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Pop-up outdoor events are being planned for the warmer summer months.

New vendors interested in space for future markets can be placed on a waiting list, and “we have plenty of space outside for rent for anyone who is interested,” Ellis said.
