Paris – The winter edition of Maison & Objet is being pushed back to spring due to the surge of the Omicron variant of Covid-19.

The international home furnishings expo has been rescheduled for March 24-28. It will take place at its long-standing location, Parc des Expositions of Paris-Nord Villepinte.

Yesterday, the French government announced that major events will  be limited to 2,000 people, which has the potential to impact admittance to M&O. In addition, fair organizers said that among the 1,700 companies that had previously confirmed attendance, many are now experiencing disruptions to their businesses, including work absences because of the rising infection rates.

Exhibitors who have already confirmed their registration and location may have the same location conditions, which will allow them to keep the same stand showcase. Visitors who have already ordered their badges for the January edition will have access to the show in March.

Maison & Objet I In The City, a sideline event that offers access to Parisian showrooms, will be held March 23-28.

Dates for the fall edition of Maison & Objet remain scheduled for Sept. 8-12.
