GREENSBORO, N.C. — Designers Today has promoted Andrea Lillo to the position of Executive Editor, Design. She most recently served the publication as Managing Editor. In her new role Lillo will represent Designers Today throughout the industry and establish its editorial direction. She will also work with other publications in the BridgeTower Media Home Furnishings Division to enhance their coverage of the design community.
Based in Brooklyn, N.Y., Lillo will report to Bill McLoughlin, editorial director of BridgeTower Media’s Home Furnishings Division. The division includes Furniture Today, Designers Today, Home Accents Today, Gifts & Decorative Accessories, Home Textiles Today and Home Furnishings News (HFN).
Lillo is a publishing industry veteran with extensive experience in the home furnishings industry having worked at HFN in roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as the publication’s Managing Editor. She has also served as Lighting Editor at Home Accents Today since 2018.
“Andrea has played a pivotal role at Designers Today since taking on the managing editor post in 2020, strengthening the brand’s market position, enhancing its print productivity and driving double-digit gains in the brand’s website audience,” said McLoughlin. “We are confident that in this new role she will continue to grow the brand and enhance its value to its community.”
