HIGH POINT – The new name for the bi-annual International Textile Alliance trade show previously known as Showtime is Interwoven.
“Interwoven speaks to the connectivity, the craft and what makes this show and the ITA organization special,” said Carrie Dillon, managing director of International Textile Alliance. “We are excited to bring an elevated experience to our trade show, a new and engaging website, and inspiring magazine content that captures the spirit of Interwoven.”
Dillon said Interwoven will be the name of the show as well as the magazine and an updated website, which symbolizes ITA’s supportive alliance of textile professionals and represents the merging of ideas through collaboration, connection and innovation.
Twice a year, ITA facilitates an international trade show in High Point that showcases the products of nearly 150 member manufacturers. The show is an opportunity for buyers to see the best of the industry, from textiles to leather and trimmings.
The membership is composed of textile mills, converters, distributors, agents, tanneries and trimming manufacturers that produce decorative coverings for home furnishings and related industries. Interwoven is the only sourcing show of its kind in the Western hemisphere.
“The fabrics and leathers we see at the show have such beauty, texture and style that we wanted to give them the best possible platform. Interwoven magazine was a natural choice,” said Todd Kinley, founder of Crobar Creative Leverage, the marketing and digital agency behind the rebranding.
“We’re a digital launch agency that understands the value of blending digital and physical mediums into an integrated branding campaign. Designers and buyers still want to hold brochures and magazines in their hands and refer to them over and over again. We’ve created something we believe is worthy of keeping long after each trade show ends.”
Dillon said the new Interwoven magazine will speak to trends in the industry, showcase manufacturers and designers and provide buyers with a valuable resource for inspiration and information.
The next Interwoven show will be held on May 22-25.
