Hooker Furnishings promotes two on digital team

MARTINSVIILLE, Va. — Hooker Furnishings, a leading home furnishings resources for case goods, leather furniture and fabric-upholstered furniture, has promoted Alexandra Parrish to vice president of e-commerce (HMI Group) and Matt Angle to vice president of e-commerce (Hooker Legacy Brands) and digital marketing.

Both will report to Johne Albanese, chief marketing officer and president of global e-commerce at Hooker Furnishings.

In this new role, Parrish will be responsible for e-commerce sales, operations and brand strategies specifically for HMI brands. She is based out of the company’s High Point office. Parrish has worked with HMI for the past 13 years, serving in a number of roles.

Angle, an employee of the company for nearly seven years, will be responsible for managing and leading e-commerce sales, operations and brand strategies for Hooker legacy brands in his new role. Additionally, he will manage and direct Hooker Furnishings corporate digital brand strategies. Angle is based out of the company’s Martinsville, Va., office.
