HIGH POINT — High Point Exhibitions, organizers of the International Pavilion at the bi-annual High Point Market, has launched a campaign in support of Ukraine, the Ukrainian population and “all Russians who do not support the war against Ukraine.”

The effort, posted on the organization’s LinkedIn page, notes that HPE has “proudly represented a number of Ukrainian companies, including Blest Furniture, Blanche, Pikart Lighting, Ukrainian Interior Design and Furniture Cluster EF, Varenycia Group, Richman Furniture, VND Furniture, Modern Furniture and MDD Group.”

High Point Exhibitions is encouraging donations to any of a number of organizations that are providing support to Ukraine and its population. “We recognize that military escalation threatens lives and affects regional and global security,” said Al Bolton, CEO of High Point Exhibitions. “You can help by sending financial support to the Ukrainian army and volunteers, protecting their country against aggression.”

In its announcement High Point Exhibitions listed the following organizations for those looking to make donations:

  • Come Back Alive: Works directly with the command and personnel of military units, purchasing infrared thermal imaging cameras, night vision goggles and more.
  • Army SOS: Manages purchases of necessary ammunition, shields, intercommunication and reconnaissance facilities, etc., and delivers all goods directly.
  • Hospitallers: Works directly on the frontline.
  • Phoenix Wings: Provides appropriate equipment and uniforms, personal non-lethal protection (vests, helmets), required treatment of the wounded soldiers and repair of the buildings used by the army.
