Heimtextil unveils layout for summer show

Frankfurt, Germany – Heimtextil’s one-time “summer special” edition will in some ways resemble a pre-pandemic show (no masks or vaccine IDs required) and in some ways won’t (fewer exhibitors, fewer halls).

Taking place at the Messe Frankfurt expo center from June 21-24, Heimtextil will be run in tandem with the Techtextil and Texprocess shows. In a press conference earlier this morning (U.S. time), executives from trade show organizer Messe Frankfurt shared information about the contours of the international home textiles fair.

Heimtextil will occupy three halls on the eastern side of the fairgrounds, highlighted here in gold.

Heimtextil exhibitors will be located in three halls on seven levels: 3.0, 3.1, 4.0., 4.1, 6.0, 6.1 and 6.2. The other two shows will take place in halls on the western side of the fairgrounds.

The summer edition will feature 800 exhibitors, roughly 28% of the normal exhibitor count. The most noticeable absence will be the lack of participants from China, which had more than 500 suppliers showing during the last in-person fair in January 2022.

The June edition of the show will host manufacturers from 47 countries – among them suppliers from France, Germany, India, Italy, Pakistan, Portugal, The Netherlands, Turkey and the U.S. Exhibitors include manufacturers of finished goods for volume retail as well as textile producers serving the contract industry.

This summer’s Heimtextil trend presentation, “Next Horizons,” will offer a clear focus on sustainability and resource conservation. It will be located at the center of the exhibition grounds in Hall 4.0.

The Heimtextil fair will return to its normal January show schedule in 2023.
