DALLAS –Dallas Market Center has announced new dates for its Lightovation show next January: Tuesday, Jan. 10 through Friday, Jan. 13. The Total Home & Gift Market will remain Jan. 4-10, 2023.
The date shift was made after extensive feedback from the lighting retail community and in collaboration with Dallas Market Center’s Lighting Board of Governors, which had also consulted with customers and sales representatives to inform a recommendation, DMC said.
The new dates allow for more time after the new year for travel to the global show and for exhibitor set-up. An optional preview day for Lightovation will take place on Monday, Jan. 9.
“Listening to the lighting industry, we are making this adjustment in order to better serve lighting retail showrooms, many of which travel long distances to attend the show,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “As a permanent marketplace, we have the flexibility to be ready when the customer is ready. At the same time, we heard from the lighting retail community that they wanted to attend our Total Home & Gift Market, and these new dates meet their complete needs.”
The next edition of Lightovation takes place June 22-25, 2022. Registration for that event is open at dallasmarketcenter.com/lightovation. Summer 2023 dates (June 21-24, 2023) remain unchanged.
