Framingham, Mass. – Off-price home textiles and décor retailer HomeGoods is beginning 2023 with a strong showing, opening three stores on one day.
Grand opening celebrations Jan. 19 were scheduled at a 23,500-square-foot store at Homestead Square in Homestead, Fla.; a 24,922-square-foot unit in River Ridge Mall in Lynchburg, Va.; and a 25,151-square-foot store at Riverdale Family Center in Riverdale, Utah.
All three stores offer HomeGoods’ typical assortment of bedding and bath textiles, rugs, furniture, lighting and decorative accessories along with storage, kitchenware, gourmet food, pet accessories and more.
The new retail locations were expected to add 65 full- and part-time jobs to each of their communities.
The retailer, which is part of The TJX Cos. Inc., is also planning to add a store in Billings, Mont., with the opening date yet to be announced.
HomeGoods operates more than 846 stores nationwide and was ranked No. 7 on Home Textiles Today’s Top 50 Textile Retailers in 2022.
