HIGH POINT – Selamat came to High Point Market with a new name–Woven—that underscores its expertise in woven natural materials and a focus on building community and making an impact through material choices and innovation.

It is also a name that is easier to pronounce, one company official acknowledged.

The 30-year-old company, located in Interhall at IHFC, has also revamped its website, wovenshop.com, and has new collections as well as vintage rattan pieces here in High Point.

Among its introductions are extensions to its Glen Ellen outdoor range to include an armchair, lounge chair and settee; the new Gabriella line that makes use of pencil-point rattan in its table base; and the introduction of a black colorway to several of its lines.

According to promotional materials offered in its showroom, partner showrooms will continue to receive trade pricing set by Woven, with no opening or re-order minimums.

Editor-in-Chief Allison Zisko first joined HFN in 1998 and spent many years covering the tabletop category before widening her scope to all home furnishings. In her current role, she oversees all aspects of HFN, including its print and digital products, and represents the brand at home and abroad through presentations, panel discussions and HFN’s podcast, The Inside Scoop.
