HIGH POINT — Luxury lighting and home décor brand Regina Andrew Detroit is introducing more than 30 upholstery items at the fall High Point Market, and company officials say the latest introduction is part of the company’s strategy to meet buyer demand.

“We’re very proud of this new made in America upholstery collection,” said James Bonomo, chief operating officer. “It is curated to fit the look of our brand, and it is designed for buyers looking for whole-home solutions in our showroom.

“We expanded our showroom to more than 10,000 square feet, which really gives our products room to breathe, so to speak,” he said. “It gives us the ability to show our products in their true light.”

The new upholstery collection includes more than 30 sofas and chairs in the mid-to-high retail price range, shipping within six to eight weeks. Many feature performance-based fabrics in linen and boucles, as well as neutral colorways that work in a variety of interior settings.

Sofas

  • The Camden Slip Sofa has a removable striped linen slipcover, a nod to a French farmhouse aesthetic. The loose bench seat and singular back pillow are non-welted. The sofa is completed with two side bolsters and a waterfall skirt.
  • The Ashton Sofa is a tuxedo design with tufted back and inside arms and turned, natural oak legs with casters.
  • Inspired by contemporary European design, the Luca Sofa has an overstuffed single-cushion back pillow and bench cushion with rounded track arms and cylindrical natural oak legs, as well as an upholstered back.
  • The Oslo Sectional is a modern modular with thick, chunky and firm seat cushions featuring jumbo self-welting. The modular sections of the sectional add versatility to the design options.

Chairs

Chairs in Regina Andrew Detroit’s new collection include swivel functionality, tailored details and most importantly, high comfort, according to company officials.

  • The Bethany chair is a swivel rocker with a modern profile and removable slipcovers.
  • The Julep chair is Deco-influenced and features a rounded back and tightly upholstered circular seat, complemented by overstuffed pillows.
  • The Alfie chair is also a swivel option and fully upholstered hair-on-hide with a tight seat and back.
  • The Gwen chair is more traditional with a classic Charles of London arm and exposed, turned natural oak legs on brass casters. Terracotta chenille nods to trending colorways.
  • The Leo chair features a removable khaki suede slipcover and double flange welt on the cushion and frame.

“Our upholstery pieces have the design aesthetic that is essential to our brand, but more importantly, they have a cushy, sink-in feeling that effects contentment,” said Carla Regina, co-founder and CCO of Regina Andrew Detroit. “We focused on making each element of the designs desirable and comfortable but without extraneous decorative details that get in the way of true relaxation.”
