Designer Jeffrey Alan Marks shows off some of his new exterior lighting options for Progress Lighting.

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Progress Lighting will debut Jeffrey Alan Marks’ second collection for the company’s Design Series at Lightovation Jan. 6-9 at the Dallas Market Center.

The Design Series category continues its theme of lighting fixtures featuring artistic influence, stylish elements and hand-crafted details that contribute to affordable luxury for the home.

“Outdoor lighting is incredibly important to me,” said Marks. “Outdoor lighting establishes the entry of a home, and of course entertaining outside has become even more important to all of us. I have expanded many clients’ living spaces to the outdoors and my collection is the perfect way to illuminate these exterior rooms. I designed the collection with Progress Lighting using materials like corrugated metal which reflects an East Coast feeling typically seen on barns. From hanging lanterns to chandeliers there is a style for everyone.”

The new Point Dume Exterior collection blends unexpected materials with elements of farmhouse chic, industrial design and artisan handwork for impactful lighting appropriate for many settings, according to Marks. The collection features six new family styles, encompassing 31 SKUs of hanging lanterns, wall lanterns, LED sconces and pendants.

“Progress Lighting is renowned for its fashion-forward, trend-oriented lighting designs that resonate with the end consumer, interior designer and home builder markets. Extending this collection into outdoor living is so important to all of us to expand the footprint of the home, and create outdoor living spaces from, dining to conversation areas,” said Colleen Visage, Progress Lighting’s vice president of product development.

The new lighting will be displayed in the Progress Lighting showroom during Lightovation and the introductions will be available at lighting showrooms, online retailers and through the Progress Lighting website.
