Malouf hosted a gingerbread house bakeoff and showcased the fun in its holiday video
LOGAN, Utah – The teams at Malouf Home have created their annual holiday video, with this year’s theme capturing the “Malouf Great Gingerbread Showdown.”
Riffing on the “Great British Baking Show,” the video shows six teams competing to build the greatest gingerbread house of all time.
“This is one of our favorite traditions here at Malouf,” said Eric Holmstead, director of sales. “We love sharing the joy with our retail partners and letting our creative capabilities shine. We recognize that it has been a crazy year, and we’re grateful that we’ve made it through together.”
Judged by Sam and Kacie Malouf, the contest has the sales team, product development team, distribution team, creative team, software development team and supply chain team creating gingerbread scenes.
“It’s fun to get the chance to highlight our different teams and see their processes in gingerbread form,” said Scott Hyldahl, Malouf’s video director. “We actually gave the participants blueprints of what we wanted, and then they had to figure out how to build it. The results are all over the place, and we hope we inspired some laughs.”
