Macy’s new Hotel collaboration evokes the high desert experience

New York – Macy’s is launching a curated collection under its Hotel private label brand in concert with the founder of a glamping hotel in Arizona.

The limited edition Shash Diné Hotel Collection was developed with Baya Meehan, CEO of Shash Diné EcoRetreat, a glamping bed & breakfast that that offers the “off-grid experience” on the northern edge of the Navajo Nation.

The collection includes quilts, comforters, blankets, kimonos, robes, towels and throws in Navajo-inspired designs. Prices range from $70.00-$500.00. The collection is available on macys.com, Macy’s mobile app and at select Macy’s nationwide.

“The outstanding natural beauty of nature itself and the connection with the land is meant to be felt throughout each piece designed and created for Macy’s,” said Meehan.

Empowering and amplifying collaborations with diverse-owned brands and designers is core to Macy’s social purpose platform, Mission Every One, according to Stephanie Muehlhausen, senior fashion director, Home, Macy’s.

“We are delighted to partner with Shash Diné and Baya, who beautifully incorporated her heritage and southwestern designs into this stylish home edition of hotel collection,” she added.
