Long-time AICO sales rep, Tom Ralph, dies at 61

Okemos, Mich. — Thomas Francis Ralph Sr. died Oct. 11 at his home at age 61. He had worked as a sales representative with AICO for more than nine years.

He was born Jan. 18, 1961, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Joseph and Catherine Ralph. Ralph served as a quartermaster in the U.S. Navy before starting his career as a furniture manufacturing sales rep.

“His sense of humor was infectious and always refreshing. Tom was a dedicated sales professional who truly carried the AICO flag with great pride,” said Michael Amini, AICO founder and CEO. “I will always remember his larger-than-life personality and his ability to always put a smile on someone’s face.”

Ralph is survived by his wife of 33 years, Vickie; two children; five grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters; and his mother-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.

A visitation will be held 10-11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, at St. Martha Catholic Church, 1100 W. Grand River Ave., Okemos, MI 48864. Following the visitation will be a funeral mass from 11 a.m.-noon at the church.
