Living Spaces aims eastward with plans for Tennessee

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — Top 100 retailer Living Spaces has plans to open a future store near Memphis, Tenn.

Reports from the Memphis Business Journal indicate that the Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.-based retailer has filed a site plan for a location in Cordova, east of Memphis, near Interstate 40 and Appling Road.

Based on the Business Journal’s analysis of the site plan, the store is set to be located at 7260 Goodlett Farms Parkway on a lot that totals 26.65 acres. The parcel is owned by Appling Associates GP and Belz Enterprises. The plan features 135,000 square feet of store space; 67,000 square feet of warehouse space; and room for 563 parking spaces.

It’s part of a continued push for expansion by Living Spaces, which has grown from its West Coast origins to opening stores in Texas and plans for stores in Colorado and Kansas, among others.
