LOS ANGELES – Online furnishings resource Lulu & Georgia is launching its collection with designer Ginny Macdonald this week, and the emphasis on the collection is tailored furnishings with a cozy vibe. The collection includes traditionally inspired case goods and a mix of fabrics that cover the cozy gamut in colors like apricot, terracotta and camel.
Macdonald, a British designer based in Los Angeles said of the collaboration, “I want the spaces I design to feel layered, elevated and cozy with a good dose of color.”
Having worked in Manchester, London and now Los Angeles, Macdonald fuses the casual SoCal look with her traditional, English roots, to create timeless, fresh and layered interiors, according to the expert, an online business that connects clients virtually with top designers around the world for video consultations and more.
The collection features case goods with an update twist on traditional barley-twisted legs in black and natural. In addition, five new fabric colors, made to order sofas, benches, beds and more and will be available on luluandgeorgia.com.
