OLATHE, Kansas – The Gerson Companies, a leading supplier of seasonal and everyday home décor, has acquired the assets of décor importer Park Hill Collection, LLC for an undisclosed amount. Park Hill will continue to be headquartered and operate in Little Rock.
The acquisition increases Gerson’s presence in the design inspired home décor space and expands its everyday home décor presence and customer reach into the design-inspired home furnishings market.
“We are thrilled to welcome Park Hill Collection to the Gerson Platform,” said Jacob Gerson, vice president of sales & customer experience. “With the support of our capital base and operational expertise, we see a tremendous opportunity to evolve and grow the Park Hill brand and its appeal in the up-market home design space”.
Park Hill will continue to operate under the same name as a wholly owned subsidiary of Gerson, but will maintain its existing office and distribution center in Little Rock, Ark., according to the company.

Jacob Gerson and JJ Hjalmarson, 4th generation Gerson Company family members, will serve as interim General Managers of Park Hill in the initial post-closing of the acquisition while Gerson conducts a national search to recruit and onboard a full-time General Manager of Park Hill.
