ACKWORTH, Ga. – Jaipur Living has launched a new rug collection called Harman Hold with interior designer Kate Lester.

“High traffic areas like kitchens and hallways deserve beautiful antique-inspired runners,” said Lester, founder and CEO of Kate Lester Interiors. “With many of those areas being prone to high traffic you need something comfortable and durable and we’ve just made that even easier. With the new fully integrated traction backing, you won’t even need to add a rug pad. Now you can get the look of a vintage rug, the durability of vintage reproduction, and a non-slip pad all in one.

This assortment of three antique textile patterns lends heirloom-quality looks and livable style to any space, according to Lester.

The new collection features digitally printed images of vintage rugs with a distressed effect, matched with a special traction backing perfectly suited for heavily trafficked, hard surface spaces such as entryways, bathrooms and kitchens.

The Harman Hold collection will be on view in Jaipur Living’s new High Point showroom during the fall market. The company’s new space, which is more than double the size of its previous showroom, is now located on the fourth floor of the Commerce & Design building.

“Evoking easy living, the collection’s vintage look graces rooms with a timeless sensibility,” Lester added.

The rug’s traction backing makes them safe for all interior areas—no rug pad required.
