CHICAGO – Crate & Barrel has unveiled its largest new rug collection with the addition of more than 300 new rugs.
“Rugs have the power to define interiors and complete a room, and this new collection gives customers a range of distinct styles and layers for any type of home or project,” said Sebastian Brauer, Crate & Barrel senior vice president of product design. “We hope this assortment will inspire our customers to bring beautiful, luxurious and artisanal foundations into their home through stunning rugs made of the highest quality fibers.”
The end of the year has always been peak rug sale season for the retailer, “whether it’s to refresh your space before a holiday gathering or a new look for the new year,” Brauer said.
The artisan-crafted rugs use pure New Zealand wool and are inspired by global destinations from Morocco to Montana. Inspired by Crate & Barrel’s design desk experts who start designing rooms by starting with a rug inspiration, the new assortment leans into a neutral palette to add texture, depth and dimension to any room.
The collection features premium viscose for a luxurious look, and naturally resilient jute and sisal. Handwoven, hand-knotted or hand-tufted and finished with durable serged edges, the new rugs are made to last a lifetime.
With more than 90 new patterns in varying fibers, textures and colors, the collection is available in a range of sizes including a new 12×15 oversized option available for the first time in select styles.
