CB2 opening in Detroit suburb

NORTHBROOK, Ill. — Top 100 retailer Crate & Barrel is opening its first CB2 store in Michigan according to reports from the Detroit Free Press.

The store will be located at 100 N. Old Woodward Ave. in a former Panera Bread location in downtown Birmingham, a northern suburb of Detroit. The storefront is owned by the Boji Group.

In the same report, the Free Press noted that another furniture retailer, Serena & Lily, also is coming to downtown Birmingham and plans to open in the former Linda Dresner Boutique at 299 W. Maple.

Crate & Barrel ranks No. 13 in Furniture Today’s 2021 Top 100 with $1.318 billion in sales across 110 stores in 2020.
