Oscar-winning actress Diane Keaton has developed a fabric lineup with Fabricut’s S. Harris brand.
This is not Keaton’s first foray into the home furnishings arena. In 2019, the actress, director and producer partnered with luxury furniture manufacturer Aidan Gray on a lighting collection. At the Market, Keaton delivered a keynote during which she talked about her love of design and more. After the product launch, Perigold was named the exclusive e-commerce supplier for the collection.
The fabric lineup – Elements by Diane Keaton – includes rich cottons, linens, bouclés and wools. Replete with the actress’ signature black and white hues, the collection also serves up dusty taupes and rich blues.
With fabric names like La-Di-Da, Shoot the Moon and Ghost Herringbone, the collection pays homage to some of Keaton’s notable roles in “Annie Hall” and “Shoot the Moon.” Other patterns pay tribute to Keaton’s mother.
Keaton has been featured in design magazines, including Architectural Digest, for her passion for home design, and she has published three books on home design and architecture: The House That Pinterest Built, House and California Romantica.
The fabric line is designed in collaboration with Jodi Finer, chief brand officer and creative director for S. Harris. “This collection is all about restraint and simplicity,” Finer said.
I’m Sheila Long O’Mara, executive editor at Furniture Today. Throughout my 25-year career in the home furnishings industry, I have been an editor with a number of industry publications and spent a brief stint with a public relations agency where I worked with some of the industry’s leading bedding brands. I rejoined Furniture Today in December 2020 with a focus on bedding and sleep products. It’s a homecoming for me, as I was a writer and editor with Furniture Today from 1994 until 2002. I’m happy to be back and look forward to telling the important stories impacting bedding retailers and manufacturers.
