ORLANDO, Fla. – Nice Link Home Furnishings has brought on textile designer Anastasia Frandsen as its new senior designer for North America. Frandsen served as senior designer for 20 years at American Silk Mills.

“The market has evolved, and just as we move with fashion and color trends, it was time to take a fresh look and approach to our fabric business, the team, and how we better serve our customers,” said Echo Yu, Nice Link CEO. “We are excited to add Anastasia’s unique perspective and expertise to complement our experienced in-house design team.”

Yu said Frandsen has textile knowledge and experience that will provide the depth and breadth from yarn development and trend forecasting to working closely with an international team as well as customers and partners.

Frandsen has also designed for Chatham Mills, Culp and Phillips Weaving and spent time as an adjunct professor at the Thomas Jefferson University School of Design and Engineering, teaching students in concept creation and weaving structure.

A fabric resource to the industry, Nice Link supplies domestic and import manufacturers through its fabric mill and cut-and-sew fabric and leather operation.

Yu founded Nice Link in 1999 after a successful run with Ashley Home Furnishings as its first country manager in China. The company is a vertically integrated operation with 1,700 employees across a 1.5-million-square-foot campus in Haining, China.
