Home furnishings and décor manufacturer Majahan Home announced that it has acquired Superior Quilting, a full-scale bedding manufacturer that services major department stores and independent retailers.
“This is an exciting time for our clients, vendors, employees and all key stakeholders because the merging of these companies creates an opportunity for a bright and prosperous future for everyone involved” said Sumit Mahajan, president and CEO of Mahajan Home Ltd.
The Superior Quilting name will continue to operate as a subsidiary of Mahajan Home Ltd. and will transition all manufacturing to one state-of-the-art facility in Milton, Ontario. The sales offices and design studio will operate from one office in Toronto.
“The success and longevity of Superior Quilting Ltd. is a result of the meaningful relationships we have built in the industry over the years,” said Superior Quilting founder Joey Benoliel, who will maintain a major role in the reshaped company. “This is our strength, and we now have an opportunity to learn, share and further grow an already solid business.”
Operating as one, both companies can now leverage each other’s strengths to increase production capacity and diversify their overall products, services and distribution capabilities.
