CHICAGO — Customizable furniture company Interior Define has launched several new kid- and pet-friendly fabrics and expanded its colorway options.

The new fabric launch includes two new fabric families – Performance Luxe Tweed and Performance Plush Bouclé.

Inspired by the legendary Chanel tweeds, Performance Luxe Tweed is a large-scale weave in versatile, multi-tonal colorways for a fashion-forward look, making it easy to scheme with many of ID’s other fabrics.

The Performance Plush Bouclé is a stain-resistant, incredibly plush bouclé with a heathered look that adds visual texture and depth to any space.

“All the colors are multi-tonal, giving the fabric depth and visual texture,” the company said.

Visitors to the ID website can order up to 10 free swatches from the more than 100 styles offered.

The company has also started a new pilot recycling program at the brand’s Chicago studio which will allow customers who return their swatch samples to get 15% off their entire order.

When it comes to color, Berry is the spotlight in May.  “As one of this year’s juiciest and most joyful color trends, this fashion-forward magenta has been adapted for use in interiors – whether you’re looking for a color forward moment on a sofa or as a small pop in a room on an accent chair, Berry pairs with a multitude of color palettes to fit your style,” the company said.

In addition to the Berry colorway, Interior Define is also introducing Chambray as a new mid-tone blue, that is inspired by denim and is ideal for use on large scale furniture configurations.
