ATLANTA — International Market Centers has hired a new design services manager, Caroline Russell, who will focus on driving Open Daily and at-market attendance of designers and home retailers to AmericasMart and providing on-site customer service once they arrive.

Russell is the direct liaison between AmericasMart and the local design community, with a specific focus on Open Year Round showrooms. She also serves as concierge to AmericasMart visitors in the Designer Workspace, IMC’s designated gathering space for designers to meet, conduct business and ask questions.

Russell will oversee the Designer Workspace daily and is available during six 2022 “Market Wednesday” events — Feb. 2, April 6, June 1, Aug. 3, Oct. 7 and Dec. 2 — during which buyers can shop all three AmericasMart buildings for gifts, accessories, home furnishings and décor.  “Market Wednesdays” are held from 10 am. – 4 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month when a market is not in session.

Russell joins IMC with two prior years of experience as a client services representative at Ferguson Enterprises, where she assisted interior designers in selecting lighting, appliances and plumbing and was selected as one of two sales associates to pilot the international Build.com rollout. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in advertising from the University of Georgia in 2019. She will report to Eleanor Hunt, director of marketing for Gift & Home in Atlanta.

Editor-in-Chief Allison Zisko first joined HFN in 1998 and spent many years covering the tabletop category before widening her scope to all home furnishings. In her current role, she oversees all aspects of HFN, including its print and digital products, and represents the brand at home and abroad through presentations, panel discussions and HFN’s podcast, The Inside Scoop.
